The Treatery was born out of love, compassion, and an urgent need to care for Pluto, our retired racing dog whose health was fragile after a lifetime on the track. When Pluto joined our family, he was battling multiple near-fatal illnesses and required intensive care to regain his strength. Finding treats he could safely enjoy was a constant challenge due to his heart condition, which required low-sodium options to protect his fragile organs.

Our rescue greyhounds are old ladies with sensitive tummies. The vet advised crocodile as a treat for them. They went nuts for them! Skye's eyes go wide when she sniffs the treat, Duchess steals Skye's treats when she is not looking. Skye climbed on the bed to rip open the bag of treats when mum was at work and nom nom nom nom nom'd to her hearts content. We will have to keep buying them! They went treatless while their tummies were investigated so being able to give them a treat means a lot to us. Both girls have had a hard life until they were rescued and joined our family. So we get a lot of joy from making them happy.
