WHY CHOOSE THE TREATERY?

Our greyhounds, Pluto and Ally, are our world and we want to make sure they have the best possible diet.  It therefore made sense to us that we only gave them treats complementing this change. We saw a massive gap in the market and began making our own treats and meals to guarantee healthy, preservative-free goodness! 

DO YOUR TREATS CONTAIN ANY PRESERVATIVES OR ADDITIVES?

No! Our Baked Treats are made with human-grade wholefood ingredients and all herbs listed grow right here in our garden. We never use chemical sprays on our herbs and nurture them with nothing but water! 

Our Single Protein Dehydrated treats are made by us to ensure no glycerin, soy, salt or any nasties are added during the process. We only use human-grade Australian meats, with the exception of our fish products that are sometimes sourced from New Zealand (see product description).

From our Single Protein Dehydrated to our Baked Cookies, we ensure only the best ingredients go into all of our treats - we know your dog's health matters to you which means it matters to us!

WHERE IS YOUR MEAT SOURCED?

We always support local. Our meat is human-grade and ethically sourced from local farmers within Australia, with the exception of our fish products that are sometimes sourced from New Zealand (see product description). A majority of our meat is sourced from South East Queensland.

HOW LONG WILL YOUR TREATS LAST? WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE?

That all depends on how long your pup allows!

Our treats will last up to 18 months at room temperature and up to 2 years in the fridge, provided you keep them in an airtight container in a cool dry place. If you are looking to get a larger amount, they freeze really well and come back just as crispy when defrosted. We recommend freezing them if you plan on keeping them for long periods of time. 

THE TREATS LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM LAST TIME I ORDERED. IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM?

Not at all. Our treats are created in small batches and therefore you will see variations in colour from time to time as we use natural and organic (where possible) ingredients. Sometimes our treats, both Thins and Baked Cookies, might be a little darker or a little lighter than the last time you saw them. This is because the colours of the ingredients (ie. pumpkin, turmeric, carob) may vary slightly. It's nothing to worry about but if you have concerns, please get in contact.

WHEN WILL AN OUT OF STOCK PRODUCT BE AVAILABLE AGAIN?

We try to keep all products well stocked, however, from time to time a product may be unavailable due to high demand or sourcing delays. Where possible, we attempt to have all products restocked within a week of them being sold out. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for restocking updates and product launches. 

DO I NEED TO SUPERVISE MY PET WHEN EATING TREATS?

We always recommend supervising your pet when they eat treats. It is important to ensure you have picked a treat that is size appropriate for your pet.

Shipping & Returns

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer a flat shipping rate of $9.50 (unless you have opted for local pick up). All orders over $130 will be provided with free shipping.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO SHIP?

We aim to pack your order within 2 business days. Once we have shipped your order, we will send you an email notification that contains your the tracking number and an estimated delivery time frame. 

During peak periods, please allow up to 2 additional days for processing. If this is the case, we will add a banner to the top of our website to let know you. 

Orders placed with pre-order products will be shipped on the date of the product availability.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with the tracking number and an estimated delivery date.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

DO YOU ALLOW LOCAL PICK UP?

We sure do. If you would like to arrange local pick up from Beenleigh in Queensland, please get in touch and let us know. We can give you a code for "click and collect" to make sure you aren't charged for shipping.

I FORGOT TO ADD AN ITEM TO MY ORDER, CAN I ADD IT NOW?

We are more than happy to add to an existing order as long as it has not yet shipped. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible via email

I PUT THE WRONG ADDRESS ON MY ORDER. WHAT CAN I DO?

Please ensure you enter the correct delivery details at the time of placing an order. If you see an error, please email hello@thetreatery.com.au immediately and we can rectify the details if your order has not yet shipped. If the order has already been shipped, there may be redirection charges.

I’VE RECEIVED INCORRECT PRODUCTS IN MY ORDER, WHAT CAN I DO?

While this situation is rare, accidents can happen as we are all human. If this occurs, please email us at hello@thetreatery.com.au with your order number and details about the issue. We will get in touch with you to rectify the issue.

CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE?

We want you and your pup to LOVE our treats which is why we use high quality human-grade ingredients. If you are not happy with your purchase, please get in touch with us to arrange options. 

Please note, we are unable to accept refunds on sale and clearance items.

MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED. WHAT CAN I DO?

We cannot take responsibility for damage that occurred during the postage process. If your order has arrived damaged, please email hello@thetreatery.com.au with photos and we will work with you to create a claim.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

The Treatery prides itself on being 100% Australia owned and operated. Our Headquarters are located in Logan, Queensland.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Due to the increasing costs of international shipping, we are unable to offer international shipping options at this current time. However, we are exploring options.

DO YOU HAVE "BUY NOW, PAY LATER" OPTIONS?

Yes! Sometimes your pooch might not have earned enough treat money to get the treats they want. Not a worry, we have Afterpay available so they can eat now and pay later! You will see this option when you're ready to make the payment.

You can visit our online shop or find us at various event and markets around South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

The Treatery treats are available in dog friendly cafes, pet supply shops, grooming salons, doggie daycares and vets on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, North Queensland, Northern NSW and Greater Sydney.

DO YOU ATTEND ANY MARKETS OR EVENTS?

You can find us at markets anywhere between Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast. Occasionally we attend interstate events. Check out our Upcoming Markets page for updates.

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE OPTIONS?

Yes we do! We provide natural healthy treats which are handmade using only human grade ingredients so you know exactly what your customers are getting. We can provide further details about our branded products or work with you to create the perfect treats for your business, whether it is a local cafe, veterinary clinic, daycare, retail store or grooming salon. We would love the opportunity to feature our treats within your space.
